Stoneline is proud to announce the official opening of its brand new concrete factory, located in Rumst. This state-of-the-art production facility is designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality concrete products and responds to the latest technologies and sustainability requirements in the construction sector.
The new factory will make a significant contribution to the local economy by creating new jobs and working with local suppliers. The pursuit of sustainable production processes is central to our vision, with the factory using environmentally friendly techniques to drastically reduce CO2 emissions and maximise the use of recycled materials.
Some of the innovations and techniques we apply to reduce the CO₂ footprint of our products:
– Switching to low-carbon cements.
– Use of recycled materials as raw materials
– Use of recycled water, all waste water from production is 100% recycled. In addition, only rainwater is used, which is collected in 3 cisterns.
– Electrification of the production process.
– Drying rooms with additional insulation, and optimal air circulation to avoid adding additional energy to the drying process.
“We are excited to take this new step in our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability in the construction industry,” says Jochen Clockaerts, CEO of Stoneline. “With this new facility, we are able to produce faster, more efficiently and in a more environmentally friendly way, without compromising on quality.”
In addition to the production of standard concrete products, the new factory will also offer customized solutions for complex construction projects. By integrating advanced machinery and digital monitoring, the factory can respond flexibly to the specific requirements of each customer.
